Shopping :

There is one small mini market in Sauve which stocks most day to day items you may require . There is also a pharmacy , a bakery , a hairdressers , a butcher shop , a Tabac shop & a post office ........ and maybe even more . Among the winding narrow streets of Sauve there are probably a few places we havn't discovered yet

Attractions: Sauve is a medieval town with a rich & colourful history . With it's maze of alleys and squares, and lovely old houses and mansions it is certainly worth a visit during your stay in the Languedoc region . The architecture & buildings are so old ( some dating back centuries ) that it almost feels like going back in time .
Food & Drink :

Sauve has some very good restaurants . Among them are the Tour de Mole located on the main street which is highly recommended as is "Le Bossens" located in the square at the top of the town .  Le Micocoulier which is close to Le Bossens is also very nice & even though we havn't tried it ourselves Chez la Marthe is also well known for it's good food . There are some other restaurants also as well as a pizzaria just off the main square Down in the main square you will find 2 bars - Le Jardin & Café du Commerce . At night they tend to rotate so that one or the other is open but usually not both . During the day they are both pleasant places to visit for a cool drink when the sun is shining.
