Leave La Bastide des Lavandieres & travel 2km on D109 until you reach St. Jean De Serres.
Continue on for another 3km & you will arrive in Ledignan

Shopping :
There are a couple of small bakeries in Ledignan where you can buy fresh baguettes , bread & pastries each morning . In the centre of the village there is a pharmacy & close by you will find a "Tabac" shop where you can buy cigarettes , play the lotto etc. There is also a branch of the Credit Agricole Bank in the village as well as a fruit & veg shop & also a hairdressers , a butchers shop & a recently opened snackbar that we don't yet know too much about.
Attractions: The closest attraction to Ledignan is of course our own LVI vineyard
which you are welcome to visit if you would like to get a close up view of a typical Languedoc vineyard . Please telephone in advance if you wish to visit the vineyard & we will organise a suitable time for you so that you get the full experience.
Food & Drink :
There's a nice combined restaurant - bakery in the centre of the village . It's opposite the car park so you can't miss it . It's especially good value for lunch when their menu of the day makes it worth a definite visit . Especially so during the Summer when the restaurant moves outdoors & get's extended to the outside garden area . Across the road you will find a typically French small bar which also doubles up as a newsagents . It's a plain unfussy bar - but we like it !
On the edge of the village ( as you approach from St. Jean De Serres ) there is a small Pizza Cabin where you can get excellent take-away pizza's
